WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE BECOMING PRESIDENT?
As the founder’s son, I started working at Randal in high school. Between my senior year and my four years at Elmhurst College, I worked in all production departments of our shop, in addition to dabbling in the car detailing industry. After college, I joined Randal full-time, doing ACAD design for a year and then becoming shop foreman. In 1990, when Phil passed away, I took over his role as head salesman and president.
WHAT’S THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB?
Working with our team to develop strategies that will elevate our customers to next level, and watching each member of the team grow and take on more responsibility. I also enjoy constantly looking for ways to improve our manufacturing through technology and the latest machinery.
WHERE CAN YOU BE FOUND WHEN YOU’RE NOT WORKING?
Skiing, playing hockey, snowmobiling, hunting or spending time with family and friends.
WHAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I am a softy at heart.

What I enjoy most is strengthening and evolving the Randal brand. I find great joy in watching our employees, processes and products improve and grow. Randal offers me a unique opportunity to lead an amazing group of people who we consider to be part of our family.
